Our barn and garden are the perfect backdrop for milestone celebrations, staff workshops and community fundraisers. When you book your private event, you and your guests can choose the experience that’s right for you. (At this time, Killdeer Farms does not host weddings.)

PRIVATE PICNICS
The perfect choice for birthdays, showers, or just because. Our three-hour private picnics offer a highly personal garden experience for a minimum of six guests and a maximum of 16.
Option 1 is a you-pick opportunity to harvest your own bouquets and spend time at your leisure in the flower patch. We’ll provide light instruction, floral snips, and gardening gloves for each participant, plus vases for everyone to keep. $65 per person.
Option 2, for those who would prefer to avoid the dirt and bugs, is a mini design workshop featuring a flower bar of the day’s freshest blooms. Guests receive a vase and a 45-minute, hands-on tutorial for easy arranging at home. $85 per person.
BUSINESS RETREATS
Ditch the trust falls and get your hands dirty. Team retreats at the farm offer an organic and unordinary chance to escape the boardroom and relax in a gorgeous and welcoming environment.
Tailored for teams of up to 75, retreats at the farm include hands-on team-building experiences in the flower patch. The big, gray barn is equipped with basic provisions, and guests are invited to work with us to execute your vision for the day.
Because weather impacts farm comfort, retreats bookings are only available during select weeks in spring and fall. (There’s no air conditioning here, folks.)
EVENING AFFAIRS
For small fundraisers, happy hours and celebrations, the sunset backdrop of Killdeer Farms can’t be beat.
Indoor/outdoor event flow and use of the barn and garden means your guests can mix and mingle with nature and one another.
Live music, outside catering, libations and light decor are welcome.
