Returns & refunds

We want you to love what you take home from the farm. If something isn't right, email hello@killdeerfarms.co within 14 days and we'll make it right.

  • Lavender goods and farm swag: Unopened, unused items can be returned within 30 days for a refund or exchange. For hygiene reasons we can't take back opened bath and body products.

  • Arrived damaged? Send us a photo within 7 days and we'll replace it or refund you. No need to send it back.

  • Fresh flowers are perishable and can't be returned. If there's a problem at pickup, snap a photo and text us right away at 530-207-7122, and we'll make it right.

  • Digital downloads (guides and planners) are non-refundable once delivered. If a file won't open, email us and we'll sort it out.

Workshop cancellations

Life happens. Here's how it works:

  • 7 or more days before the workshop: full refund, or move your seat to another workshop.

  • Less than 7 days before: we've already purchased materials for you, so we can't refund, but you're welcome to send a friend in your place.

  • If we cancel (for weather, illness, or anything else), you choose a full refund or a seat at the new date.

Shipping (lavender goods and swag)

Choose flat-rate shipping or free farm pickup at checkout. We pack every order by hand and ship within 5 business days (we're farmers with day jobs, so thanks for your patience). We ship within the U.S. only. For pickup, call or text Christine at 530-207-7122 to set a time. Fresh flowers are never shipped; they're farm pickup only.

Weather (farm events)

We're a working farm, so most events go on rain or shine. Dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes. If the weather turns unsafe (heavy rain, extreme heat, high winds, or smoky air), we'll email ticket holders as early as we can, and no later than the morning of the event. If we cancel or postpone, you choose a full refund or a seat at the new date.

Bulk flower orders

  • All bulk orders, of any size, are paid in full when you order.

  • Cancel 7 or more days before your pickup date for a full refund.

  • Within 7 days of pickup, a refund depends on whether your flowers have already been harvested.

  • Flowers are always farmer's choice. If weather or a crop failure means we can't fill your order, we'll substitute in kind or refund the difference.
