Farmer for a Day: Let’s Harvest Lavender! Sunday, June 29
8:30-11:30 am
It’s finally time. The bees are buzzing, that that mean’s the lavender has reached it’s peak. Join us for a morning of harvesting lavender using hand-held sheers and electric tools. It’s fun, and beautiful, and it will count for your workout.
All participants will go home with armloads of lavender. Closed-toe shoes are required, and sun hats are recommended. All tools will be provided. Participants should be ready to kneel, squat, and bend. Bees are abundant, but not to fret: They’re drunk and happy. :)
This workshop is physical and best for mature teens and adults. Limited to 8 participants.
