Dusty Miller

A classic foliage workhorse grown for its soft, silvery leaves and sturdy stems that bring instant texture, contrast, and a little frosty garden charm to bouquets. Dusty Miller has larger, velvety, silver-white leaves that make bright flowers look brighter, moody flowers look moodier, and arrangements feel a bit more polished without making a fuss. It’s heat tolerant, easygoing, and especially useful when you need foliage that plays nicely with just about everything in the cutting garden. Harvest stems when they are well-sized and firm, then strip the lower leaves before arranging for the cleanest vase life. Excellent for fresh cuts, foliage, borders, containers, and adding that soft silver “well, aren’t we fancy?” moment to seasonal bouquets. Tender perennial often grown as an annual.
