Sedum

Tough, beautiful, succulent-like varieties grown for cut flower production, including favorites like Touchdown Teak and Autumn Glory. These plants earn their keep with sturdy stems, handsome foliage, and broad flower heads that shift through the season in shades of green, blush, rose, burgundy, bronze, and deep pink. They add structure and texture to bouquets. Sedum thrives in full sun, handles heat and dry conditions like a champ, and is especially useful later in the season when the garden starts looking a little tired and dramatic. Harvest when the flower heads are well-colored and firm for fresh arrangements, or let them mature for gorgeous dried designs. Excellent for fresh cuts, dried flowers, pollinators, low-water gardens, and fall arrangements. Perennial.
